puisque (CD) // (BE) donc d'après le th.Thalès on a;

  AE/AD = BE/CD

on pose  AE = x

     x/(5.6 + x) = 2.5/6  ⇔ 6 x = 2.5(5.6 + x)  ⇔ 6 x = 14 + 2.5 x

 ⇔ 3.5 x = 14  ⇔ x = 14/3.5 = 4 cm

donc  AE = 4 cm
